Their corporate model had a large portion of their workforce that never came into an office—creating a need for centralized production and fulfillment to ensure all team members complied with their brand standards in uniforming, especially in light of their recent brand refresh.

Problem
This client needed a solution to provide uniforms to their technicians working remotely across the country. Their corporate model had a large portion of their workforce that never came into an office—creating a need for centralized production and fulfillment to ensure all team members remained in compliance with their brand standards in uniforming, especially in light of their recent brand refresh.
Lastly, they needed a creative way to cover the cost of garments up to a certain budget while allowing employees to pay for any additional pieces they wanted to order outside of what the company would cover.
Solution
Our solution to this was to create them a custom online store with various functionalities to meet all their needs.
Firstly, we addressed the issue of getting uniforms to their remote employees by adding them to the online platform where uniforms could be ordered by and shipped directly to any of their employees.
Nextly, we addressed compliance by working with the corporate office to determine garments, colors, decoration methods, logos, and fonts to use on the uniform pieces.
Finally, we implemented custom payment methods in the store to allow for flexible order cost coverage. For identified corporate employees, we activated the ability to process an order with Purchase Ordering terms or use a corporate stipend.
To make it even easier for their new team members to order everything they needed to get started, we developed custom kits on the site to coordinate with the different roles in the company. An employee could simply click on the correct kit, make their sizing selections, and add to the cart.

Results
This process change has completely overhauled how they were handling branded apparel and uniforms. Their employees can now log onto an easy-to-use site with SSO integration and place orders for their own gear. Their orders will go straight to their homes or remote offices, keeping them in compliance with official, company-provided uniforms.
